Is my financial data safe?

Yes. All your data is stored locally on your device and protected by your device’s encryption (passcode, Face ID, or Touch ID). SpendZy does not upload your financial data to any servers. Google Drive backups (Premium) are encrypted before upload.

How does Auto-Track work?

Auto-Track uses an Apple Shortcut that reads incoming bank SMS and UPI notifications on your device. The transaction amount and details are extracted on-device and saved directly into SpendZy. No SMS messages are uploaded anywhere. A one-time Shortcut setup is required for this feature.

Can I use SpendZy without a subscription?

Yes! SpendZy is free to use for core features like expense tracking, basic lend/owe management, savings goals, and chitti management. SpendZy Premium unlocks auto-tracking from bank messages, due date reminders, unlimited folders and savings goals, and Google Drive backup.

How do I back up my data?

You can create local backups from Settings within the app. Premium users can also enable Google Drive backup for encrypted cloud backups that can be restored on any device.

How do I cancel my subscription?

Since all subscriptions are managed by Apple, you can cancel by going to your iPhone Settings > tap your name > Subscriptions > SpendZy > Cancel Subscription. Deleting the app does not cancel your subscription.

Can I switch from the App Store’s price currency to a different one?

Subscription pricing is handled by Apple and displayed in your App Store region’s local currency. To change your region, update your Apple ID country/region settings.

Does SpendZy support multiple currencies?

Yes! SpendZy supports multiple currencies. You can set your default currency in the app settings and categorize transactions in different currencies.
